There are a lot of things to discuss but let's start with the BIG NEWS.
LinkedIn are going to trial a paid subscription for Company Pages.
This does NOT mean everyone who has a company page has to pay. This is like giving the Premium account to your Page.
Cost: $99 a month
Benefits:
Personalize Your Call-to-Action Buttons: Make your page stand out by customizing its main buttons—like "Visit Website" or "Contact Us." These are not just on your page; they’re also right where people find you in search results and next to your latest posts.
Who's Checking You Out? See with Visitor Insights: Curious about who's been visiting your page? This will lets you see the profiles of visitors to your page. This could be a fantastic tool for your teams to understand who's interested and follow up effectively.
Highlight a Happy Customer: spotlight a client testimonial right at the top of your page, complete with their picture.
Write Posts with AI Help: The AI-powered writing assistant aims to make it easy to create engaging content that resonates with your audience. (if this is the same as the personal profile tool, I say avoid)
Grow Your Followers Automatically: With Auto-Invites, anyone who interacts with your posts is automatically invited to follow your page. This one is a game-changer for me.
Show Off Your LinkedIn Premium Status: Display the exclusive LinkedIn Premium logo on your page and in search results.
Do you think you will test out this Premium service? Karen and I will definitely dig into this!
Brand Partnerships
Spotted on LinkedIn today - Matt Navarra, a reputable UK social media expert, wrote a post today selling an AI video tool.
At the top of his profile, on the post ONLY, you can see the words Brand Partnership.
This is not in bold or highlighted and it is not clickable.
You can also see the word [AD] at the start of his post.
So the INfluencers are coming... I would love to hear your thoughts on this one...
In the meantime, among all the buzz and new features, most of us are just busy networking, sharing content, engaging and getting business.
This week alone I have had three DMs reach out to discuss working together.
Why am I telling you this?
You don't need fancy gizmos and Premium accounts to win business on LinkedIn. PHEW.
You need to spruce up your profile, build a network of value and show up with content a few times a week.
Unless you only joined this email today, you will know that I am banging on about video on LinkedIn.
We will be doing another free masterclass in a few weeks, but if you can't wait until then, and want to get video ready for your content (parents, I am talking to you... let's get those videos made and prepped and scheduled for your summer holidays so you can forget about having to create content when school is out), then book your video block today.
Have a fabulous week! I am off to the Netherlands next week to meet lots of lovely Dutch friends - if you are in the Randstad area, let me know and we can get a coffee!
if you find this content useful, please do share with someone else
